Also, I do not want to pay for any service plan. I want a complete refund for the phone because it will not work. The reps try to transfer the phone when there is something defective somewhere. I have called 20 times to get this matter settled. So, at their discretion, they may give me 50% for return of the phone. I paid over $400 for a phone that I can't return because a) I have had it for longer than a week, waiting for this promised transfer, b) I don't have all of the bits and bobs of paper and plastic in perfect condition as when I received the phone. Of course, I wanted to transfer my old phone number. I cannot use it to make calls of texts - even though it has this new number. I now believe this is so, because they want to bill me for services immediately. Mint INSISTED on sending me a phone with a temporary number. Customers say they value Mint Mobile for its superior prices (compared to the big three carriers), reliable service, and user-friendly website and app. I didn't know anything about it, but they are all the same, right? Well, it took a very long time (weeks) for the phone to arrive. Mint Mobile has one of the best customer ratings of any mobile plan provider, with a 4.6-star rating from around 5,000 customer reviews on Trustpilot. Mind you this is on a brand new 5G capable phone. I would barely get 20Mbps down and 2Mbps up if I'm lucky to get a signal. There's heavy deprioritization happening.

Even though it uses T-Mobile network, speed and coverage is much worse than T-Mobile. I wanted a new phone and I decided to try Mint. Mint mobile is cheap, and that's about the best feature it has.
